|
|
I have made some home movies, and when I capture the footage with the best resolution without losing any quality the files are like 10gigs!
this is just standard DV and captured with movie maker..
the files are then turned into AVI.
I want to be able to burn it onto a 4.7 gig dvdr
I dont really want to convert it to VOB files, just would like to store it on the DVD as a file, just for storage and can be played on the pc when I want to view it..
any tips??
also when I compress the 10gig or the 6 gig what ever I dont want to lose quality , thats the whole reason I rendered it at the best quality..
if I go to low it comes out at like 700mg and looks like C R A P !!!! |

The .avi is lossless, that's why it's big. You cannot make the file size smaller without image degradation. Re-encode it with DivX or another good quality codec. It will look ok, but not the same as it does now. |
