Ok it's nearly Rugby world cup time . Where is a good area/place to watch the games around Gangnam ?
I want to avoid Itaewon as it sounds the type of place where you'd find lots of Australians . |

Usually in Itaewon it's about 50% Saffers and 50% Aussies when SA plays Oz, nothing to worry about really, except when we always lose I guess.
Doubt you'll find a place in Gangnam showing the World Cup though. |

Scrooge's directly across from 3 Alleys Pub. Was there last night actually and they totally renovated the place - they actually have toilets INSIDE the joint now, haha.
A draft beer (OB) there is 2000 or 2500 won, I forget because I was trashed at that point (just went there to play darts). Don't like the Filipino barman there, nor the Filipina waitress, but what can you do I guess. |

Try the Dublin Irish Bar in Bundang, I watched all the rugby there last year and the year before, good atmosphere, nice friendly pub, great beers too, used to be owned by an Irish guy, still is I believe though he is not there too often now. Take the bus or the train to Seohyeon stn. exit Samsung Plaza as if going to KFC walk 50m it is on the left 2nd floor easy to miss first time, nice pool room and dart board there too, was my local for two years, say hello to Sunkyung if you go there , she is the Korean co-owner, tell 031 7087942 |
