Having been in Korea for a while I have talked to a lot of ESL teachers and have heard TONS of horror stories about recruiters. Many of them have less integrity than Hagwon owners. Based on speaking with many teachers below is a list of safe recruiters and their strong points.

OK RECRUITING: best schools, great recruiters, concerned about the well-being of their clients, go way out of their way for teachers, don't rush or pressure applicants, they care about the quality of their services rather than maximizing profits, if you are at a bad school they will help you (even though it's financially not worth their while, (probably the best/safest choice)

Park English: very professional, nice to applicants, comprehensive consulation, good schools, if you are at a bad school they probably won't help you because it's not financially worth their while and they don't want to tarnish their reputation with the hagwons (although they sometimes won't offer you the best schools)

Rowan Hall: nice, hip, realistic. Don't know alot of specifics but I have heard good things.

There are someother good recruiters out there. If you know of any, please list them. Those who only recruit for public schools also deserve praise.

Most recruiters are BAD and will exploit you (broker you to bas schools, lie, and get a commission on your overtime), so please take this advice very carefully.

Also, I think Korea Connections might be good to. But if you want security in getting a job choose OK Recruiting.
