What's a good place to take a girl in Songtan? I'm thinking low-key and relaxed as opposed to Barry White-playa romantic. Girl in question is Filipino, not Korean. |

I laughed out loud at that. I should mention that to her tonight and see if she sees the humor. She might slap me and storm out, but do I really want to spend the evening with a girl who doesn't like a good anal sex joke as much as I do?
Anyone else got a real answer? |

Let her take you around there. There are some filipina restaurants and a lot of Filipinas around in general.
Songtan is BASICALLY the playground FOR the U.S. Air Force in Osan - it's right out front the front gate. So pretty much all the bars cater to the airforce guys on some level or another. |

reataurants are going to be better choices thn the bars.
there are other threads on the topic, but Puffin is a good call, as are the Thai & Indian places.
For a bar, Casa Bella opened a bar (cocktail/show-bar) up on the 3rd floor that isn't full of juicy girls. The Blue opera is another ok choice for drinks.

If it were me I would go to Puffin. But there are also good Thai and Indian places too. I haven't found the Filipino places to be good but then I wouldn't really know either.

She wound up taking me to a juicy bar. The date went shockingly well. Drinky girls don't give you the hard sell (or any sell) if you walk in with a girl on your arm. |

That Galbi page needs adesperate update - much more comprehensive threads here in Dave's , using the search function.
GFE also has a good Songtan writeup, but it is VERY 'guys' oriented.
Glad it went well! We like the gals over at the Dragon Club - good pool/dart/air hockey/foosball players, as well, and easy on the eyes. Also like the 6 flavors of soju slushies on tap during summertime.

Osan? What nice restaurant is there, other than a couple of darkly-lit Japanese places? |
