Is it signed by the boss and dated? Make sure.
DO NOT sign it- it could appear that you agreed with the firing.
It is not the same as a letter of release, BUT if you go to your Immigration office, show them the letter, and explain your situation (what happened), they MAY release you from the Visa. Do this Monday morning because you need to know your Immigration status ASAP.
If you challenge the firing at Labor, you should file ASAP, and show a copy of your Labor complaint to Immigration. That will put a freeze of your Visa status and allow you to stay in Korea. If you don't do any of this, your lying boss could go to Immigration and report you as a runner. Get there first- WITH DOCUMENTATION- and you can explain everything. |
