Today is my last day at the elementary school I've been at for 2 years. I'm going home (for a while) next week. I never dreamed it would be this tough to say goodbye to a lot of my kids. I never thought I would get as attached as I did. It breaks your heart when 10 and 11 year old kids are crying and telling you that they love you and they'll miss you  . I think I'm gonna get drunk tonight. |

| Up until y mid-20's I found it really hard to say goodbye to people that I'd (probably) never see again. later, i figured, well they're still out there being who they are, and it made me glad. In the end, all we can do is hope that our influence was a positive one. |

The day after you're gone they've already forgotten about you.
The "I Love You" comment get's thrown around as much as how's the weather.
Hate to be a stick in the mud, but that's how it is. |
