I understand there are small homegrown IT companies coming about in the US that are looking to sponsor people in rural areas with the aptitude for computer work to study for 12 weeks full time to earn the Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD) certification to work in ASP .NET programming. One such company is Onshore Technologies with the concept of low operating costs by being based in rural areas as businesses in small towns require IT services as well. I used to be in an IT related field until late 2001 and am interested once again if the job market is.
Anyone else got an eye on this or a similar IT career move?
I am interested in finding the most popular forums that speak of the latest developments in the IT job market. Anyone here looking at these sorts of things? If so, can you provide some links? Thanks in advance. |
