OHHHHH I AM SOOOO BAKING UP A STORM TONIGHT!

I made the mistake of only bringing 3 cookie recipes from home when I came back this year. The same 3 on rotation can get boring.

Time to warm up my oven!! Smile

Quite the collection. I don't eat a lot of sweets, and almost never cook.
Some of these look fun. I may have to surprise and impress the FAM at Thanksgiving. Razz

Last year I didn't have an oven, or a microwave, and this year I have a fully stocked kitchen. Let's just say I've been making up for lost time. Smile

It's not the oven that presents a problem in Korea. It's actually about being able to easily find ingredients. I have three supermarkets by my house, and not one of them has much variety. Cooking many things involves a trip to Hannam Supermarket and a major opening of the wallet.

Yes, I am getting burned out on fried foods as I have been just using a skillet and burner for many months and got fat off it to the tune of 40 pounds in 8 months. I go hungry during the day, but eat an orange or PB&J sandwich here and there, due to lacking time to go anywhere or cook it, while doing elaborate fry offs and drinking beer most evenings due to hunger for hot cooked food, work stress, and lack of options such as oven baked without all the oil. What a nasty fat mess I wake up to every morning that is no ones fault, but my own since I was too lazy to clean up. I can feel myself getting heavier a bit everyday and wish to install an oven, a microwave, and a home gym, all for private use.

There are many healthier food options, but hunger for hot food sets in every day and night.
