I'm trying to liven up my Middle School's English Only zone. The previous native speaker was a Kiwi, so there are maps of North and South island on the walls, team photos of the All Blacks, etc. I think NZ is pretty cool, but I'm not from there and consequently feel like there's a bit of a disconnect between the decorations, myself, and my North American accent / culture. I'd like to put up some more generically English-related posters or something, but I'm unsure of, A: Where to find large, good quality posters here in the ROK, and B: What kind of posters to get, precisely.
Anyway, it's a bit of a dumb question, but any help would be appreciated.
I apologize if this question's been answered before in another thread -- I spent around five minutes with the search function trying to find out, but, not being terribly masochistic, that's about all I could take. |

English Plus usually has some good stuff.... perhaps Kim and Johnson's as well.
They should have some very basic things like body parts, opposites,
animals, and some verbs, feelings, places, and things. |

Any bookstore or stationary shop (like Alpha, et al.) will have tons of them from kindy to HS level.
You can also get the students to MAKE appropriate posters based on the content that they have been learning. Kill 2 birds with one stone.
Lastly you can get some large felt sheets (again from an office supply, stationary or book shop) and make your own wall stuff. |
