I bought a Hanaro Telecom 162 calling card (pink and white with a picture of a little girl on the front) for 10,000 won and now I need to get a new calling card.

With the Hanaro Telecom card, if I called a landline in the US, then I got up to 223 minutes. Calling cell phones = 112 minutes. But does it make a difference whether I place the call from a landline or cell phone form here?

Are there better calling cards out there?

I buy phone cards in Itaewon. Look for posters in the store windows. I just ask for the best card for the country I want t call. It's usually 400+ landline minutes for 15,000-20,000.

Go to the Foreign Food Mart in Itaewon. They have great cards. The one I was buying was called Master Card. I got over 500 minutes for 13,000 won.

To go there, get out of exit 3 of Itaweon Station, walk past Starbucks and turn right onto the next street. FF Mart is on the left halfway up the street.
