So I go to check my official pay statement in the school's online site, only accessible on official university computers, and I follow the proceedure and there it all is. I understand less than 50% of it so print off each month's page in order to get a Korean friend to help read it.

... But when it prints out, all the numbers are there - except for the dates relating to each page's month's pay.

Now, if there's cause for dispute, and I need to query the interesting variation in tax that's been changing every month or so for no reason that I've been told, what use are these dateless documents in an official capacity?

None, I'd guess. Am I right?

What is the usual proceedure for getting pay dockets, slips or receipt-type things; and how useful in pay disputes are they?

Date it yourself?

Set your web browser to print the date when you print it out?

Thanks for thinking of that OiGirl.

I double checked, and there's no date on the print outs, probably because it's from the intranet, as distinct from the internet. It's an in-house system, so the web-browser is effectivley bypassed, or so it seems and as far as I know.

Just to clarify:

It is a valid cause of concern because a co-worker was clearly and deliberately denied his full pay, and had to threaten legal action and the labour board before they listened. Apologies remain outstanding.
