I have just been hit up about supplying a criminal background check to my school (I have been working for them for 6 months). Anyone know how I go about this (I'm from New Zealand, if that makes any difference) |

Actually, saying you are from NZ makes a huge difference as you have to get it from them. I'm Canadian, so I can't help you. |

I did it a few years ago from Korea (but my memory is like a sieve these days so apologies if this is not quite accurate). I assume the same system is still in place, but could be wrong.
I went online to the NZ Ministry of Justice website and got a form from there which I either printed off and posted to them, or else just emailed them (can't recall which).
They sent an official letter (to a NZ address, which then got forwarded on to me in Korea) basically stating that there was no record of any convictions on the NZ Police computer system (Wanganui computer).
There was no fee for anything.
Hope this helps. |

Criminal Background Check?
Let's see:
1999: Graduated with Honours from the Daewoo school of Embezelment and Money Laundering.
2000: Post Graduate Studies at the Hyundai school of Bribery and Corruption
2002: Doctoral thesis on Thugishness, and the use of deadly weapons from the Hanwha School of Thugs and Gangsters.
Work Experience: Running a chain of Hogwans, ripping off parents and teachers.
Career Highlight: Never paying year end bonuses, and a 95% firing rate (11 months into the contract)
That's my Criminal Background, what's yours? |
