Hey folks
Moving swiftly on from my embarassing Fistycuffs topic, what cover songs do you wish the rock bands that play in Korea would put in their setlist? |

It wasn't a bad topic. It just got threadjacked.
Before I could name good covers, I'd need to know more about what kind of band it is. |

The last topic has turned a tad sour.
Anyway the band is drums, bass, two guitars.
I think My Sharona is a great choice. |

Lightning Strikes--by Klaus Nomi

Do this, and you will be a god. Seriously, get past Nomi's inherent weirdness and it's a damned good song. |

With you being Scottish, I would recommend at least one Proclaimers song and one by Big Country. Then there was also that tacky group, Bay City Rollers (or something like that)...they did one song that didn't make me throw up. Saturday Night...maybe? Sam Cooke's Another Saturday Night is MUCH better.
(PS: It would help if you told what style your band is into.) |

Can we be friends? In my fantasy world, I finish my set with a cabaret version of Homos.
I would also throw in:
Devo - Gut Feeling (starts at :30)
The Pop Group - We Are Time
This Heat - Makeshift Swahili
Course this is just what I'd want to hear/play. Probably wouldn't bring in the crowds or anything. |

Heh, nice. I played in a band once that did a fast & filthy version of "Dykes are We" |
