My recruiter told me that the visa number takes 'up to 10 days' to come through. Can anyone tell me if they got theirs any sooner and the 10 day thing is an absolute maximum, or if this is how long it normally takes.
Thanks |

It can take as little as one day or as long as 10 business days, and even longer on occasion. It is up to Immigration. It depends on which office your application goes through, the time of the year, how busy the workers are, how many applications are pending, whether it is close to a major Korean holiday, whether or not any of the workers are sick or on vacation, how the workers feel about your school or boss, whether or not they like your photo or name or university, the mood of the workers, whim, and just plain luck.
My past experience has been that it normally takes under one week, one time over 2 weeks and on one occasion only 3 hours. |

Hi Anna_Louise,
I'm currently in the process of waiting for mine as well - it's so frustrating having to wait isn't it! |

Thanks, it's good to know that there's even a slight chance it could come through a bit early. It is frustrating indeed, I need to be earning some money now! |
