HI, my ARC card is due to expire. I'm a Kiwi. Can I go to immigration and replace it with a tourist visa? I want to stay for another 3 months (travel, not teach).

Tourist visa possible from within Korea?

cheers in advance

Short answer = NO.

Out and back, get a 90 day stamp.

Yes, but it amounts to the same thing.

NO.

Jump on the ferry or grab a cheap flight to anywhere. You can often get cheap seats to Taiwan for about 250k when the tourists aren't travelling.

Go out in the morning, come back in the afternoon and it's all good.
