Star Sports (both cable and Skylife) and MBC-ESPN will be showing the game from 4am.

None of them have the Scotland game, so it'll be myP2P for that one...

comfortable win...McClaren seems safe for now but we have a crucial tie in Moscow in about a months time...anyway he's getting results so I guess I'll get off his back...(for now)

I couldn't even listen to the commentary on 5live as it's only available in the UK.

Should have asked for a refund on my TV license before I left.

Russia were crap, they were competent but they played too deep with a 3-5-1-1 formation and England were on to them with an early Owen goal.

When Hiddink changed to 3-4-3 they were more of a threat. I couldn't believe Kerzhakov was on the bench till the 80th minute. Shocked

It is going to be hard in Moscow and on a plastic pitch and if they play
Kerzhakov from the beginning, England are in trouble.

It's gonna be interesting. We've had two confidence boosting results but they've both been at home.

Richards has looked really good, as has Barry. Nice to see them getting their chance. Their negative tactics were their undoing, but as you say Russia away, could a rude awakening. It's on MBC now so I get to watch it for the first time. There was no way I was gonna be watching that live on tv.

Richards was fantastic and Barry had a stormer. Tell you who was my man of the match and I never thought I would say it an that was Emile Heskey. He bullied the Russian defence and was fantastic with Owen - then McClaren brought on Rodders - how the hell he's an England international is beyond my scope of imaginaton. I think Rodders needs to think about exploiting his true athletic potential and get a trial at the Harlem Globetrotters!

Russia, Kerzhakov to start and that plastic pitch is going to be tough but think England will beat Estonia and Croatia at home to qualify with the jocks though (and who would have thought that eh?) Laughing

Yep gonna have to swallow my pride here and say that Heskey has been excellent for both games, doing exactly what he does best, being really big!

I said that the last game of the season seemed to be like a moment for him and he seems to be really doing it for Wigan, which is excellent for you and England. Crotch is good but he is really just 'an option'.

Like you say the in form players are playing at the mo and you see it, minus ferdinand and robbo from that list.
