I'd really appreciate some pointers on where to go with this..
I just picked up a new monitor (lcd) for my new desktop running windows vista.
Screwing around with the monitor settings, I pushed it out of its range and now the screen only shows an "out of frequency" sign.

Anyone know how to get back in to change the settings?
Is there some way to start in safe mode?
Or do I need to take it to someone and can anyone recommended tech help here in the city that speaks English?

Thanks much,

After an early morning freak out it wasn't much of a problem.
Just got into safe mode by tapping th f8 key at start up then restored the system to the last previous point.

I bet my kindie kids could school me on this kind of stuff.
