|
I have a mini pmp (not an i-station) and I really like it but the one problem I have is that I need to convert .avi files to a new file type on my computer first before I can upload it to the pmp to watch...which takes some time
Is this the same with the I-station?
Do you have to convert or transcode the .avi files first before it's playable on the I-station? |

No.
iStations, and the Cowon range, play all common video files with no conversion. Just drag and drop in Windows. Another reason that these PMP's thrash any offering by Apple. No software or conversion needed. |

Far too many people use iPods or anything else Apple puts out just because they want to be cool. These are the people who don't care about functionality or actual quality. They just want to look cool.
