MBC-ESPN, 1am on Sunday morning.

You can catch Hungary v Bosnia-Herzegovina a couple of hours before on SBS Sports at 11pm, and then Denmark v Sweden at 3:20am on that same channel.

You can get it in English if you have Star Sports and thus avoid having to suffer the Konglish Kommentary on Mongolvision.

i hope we lose so that McClown gets fired and we get a new coach with the balls to drop all these celebrity footballers, most of whom have never really achieved anything.

In reality though Michael Owen will probably get a tap in despite being invisible for 89 minutes and my pain will continue

or we will lose and they will put Glenn Roeder in charge or something like that Evil or Very Mad

yeah McClaren has got to go and soon..the FA really f****d up big time there! Really the worst case scenario would be to qualify and then be lumbered with McClaren through 2010 WC Qualification..unfortunately the managerial pool for possible replacements is pretty slim so I'm going to throw one in right out of left field and totally off the wall...how about Roy Keane...his abrasive approach reminds me of the young Brian Clough (the greatest manager never to manage England)

Sadly, I fear the footy will interfere with the RWC on Skylife SS. Don't get me wrong, I love the footer, but I've had a look at the schedule for the next week or so and there's a grand total of 2 live matches on Skylife in the next week. Both at appalling times.

Bollox.

Agree, with Safeblad. Think he was the cheapest option after Sven. That's why they took him.

He is awful, he needs to drop lumpard and stick somebody who tries a bit.

We'll be lucky to make it thru. Ahhh mediocrity, if only our newspapers didn't fill idiots full of false hope.

A f*cking hard manager would be good, knock some sense into them. Hughes? oops wrong country. Keano would be good, always amazed at the tshi he sends out for sunderland, why he bothers!!!

Keano's the wrong country too, though! He's far too Irish to consider managing England, I suspect. Hughes'd probably take the job, but we need to wait until the end of the season to really be sure he's got what he takes. In a few years he'd prob be a good candidate. Allrdyce has done consistently well. Moyes would be an outside bet, but he's also got a lot to learn and a lot to prove.

I think hughes is actually enjoying being at blackburn at the mo, butlerian, he's building a very good team, and they'll be up there at the end of the season. Keano, maybe not, 1st division calling. Moyes wouldn't leave everton. The england job is like a poisoned chalis. The only person who said he'd like it is Allardyce so if things go t*ts up at newcastle then he'll be on the case, even with his call centre microphone.

Nobody mentioned Martin O'Neill at Villa yet...he's done an outstanding job, and is respected and experienced ...why not? (ok I know WRONG country - again) let's face there are no outstanding English managers left!

I think it is justice for the times when England did have great managers such as Cloughie and Bob Paisley - Ron Greenwood was OK but should never have got the job with Cloughie around.

The FA is a plc and thus want company men who will not rock the boat. Also after all the CRAP surrounding Svens non Englishness (who will go down in history as one of the better England managers) I don't think another non Englishman will be in for a shout at the job.

Lets face it, England are crap 'you can't polish a turd' and it is true. Heskey is getting a recall ffs! Rolling Eyes

Oh yeah...when Keane was describing McCarthy he was 100% spot on correct... but don't forget...when money talks everybody walks! Would he manage England? oh yeah...I think he would....after all Jack Charlton managed the Micks...didn't he?
