I have heard that Americans get a multiple entry visa automatically. I am leaving tomorrow morning for 2 weeks.
My visa does have an M under the entries section in the passport work visa page.
Am I OK to just fly out tomorrow on emergency leave and come back in 2 weeks or do I have to go see immigration to prevent my work visa from being voided?
Anything else I should do today? |

If you have the M you're good. |

Cool, that will work. I am glad no visit to immigration was required, but I am going to let them know on the way out that I am leaving for family emergency and to return back to my job in 2 to 3 weeks. |

If you have an "M" under "Entry"
AND
you have not extended (beyond the 1st year) or changed your status of sojourn you are fine. |
