Remember there were TWO China forums a while ago, one job related, one not job related.
Why did they close down the non job related forum...? |

Even before they close down, I figured out that I could read job related forum without log in, but I couldn't read non job related forum without log in, which means if you are not a member on Dave already, you can't read non job related forum.
I always wonder why China forum ( ONly China Forum on Dave ) requires " Only job related discussion ", WHAT THEY ARE SO AFRAID ???? |

It was recalled due to a high concentration of rat feces. |

Maybe the Chinese government told Dave they'd censor his site, rendering it useless for expats there. Perhaps for the benefit of expats there, he shut down one part of the site to keep revenue coming in on the other part (the jobs listings) Although why anyone would go to a foreign country they couldn't get the dirt on beforehand is beyond me. It is China after all, the land of selling Falun Gong members' livers on the black market and all. Still I guess some people really like living on the edge.
Sorry got off track. Um yeah, the government of China, I'm sure that's the reason. |

Did you register separately for the International Job Forums board?
If you did, you shouldn't be having a problem accessing both China forums.
If I can help, please contact me by PM. |
