Hi
I am looking for a home for my cat. He is AWESOME!! He is a year and a half old and is super loving. He loves to be picked up and carried around, in any position. He rides on my shoulder if I take him to the park. I have done all the hard work of raising him through the kitten stage where he kept me up most nights. Now he is fixed, and is very calm. He loves attention, but is not needy...like all cats he is very independant. I work all day so he is used to being alone and I often go away for the weekend and he is fine alone. He doesnt scratch things.
I am leaving at the end of August and wish I could take him but it is just not possible. He has truly been my best friend here in Korea. His mom was taken off the street pregnant and I adopted him as a kitten.
He really is beautiful....grey black and white tiger striped, and his name is Mekju, but I call him Meki. If you are interested I can send you some picks. I am in Incheon but I will bring him to you where ever you are.
You can email me at [email protected]
Thank you

why does everybody always rag on people trying to get another home for their pets? whats wrong with taking care of an animal for a year and then finding them a new home? |

IT IS WRONG!!!
The cat gets attached to you, your habits, your environment!!
If people keep passing the cat around, it will die of depression or someone will just throw it in the streets!
It's not a pair of shoes #$$%#@$ |

Well maybe she managed to save that cat's life for a year. Maybe if she hadn't taken him in the cat would have died as a kitten. Should she have left the kitten to die instead of taking it in for "just a year?" |

It's called responsibiltiy. Get some! I doubt she did it just for saving it's life. Now that it is not a kitten anymore, it's not as important. IT IS NOT THAT HARD TO BRING A CAT BACK HOME!
Someone else mentioned the cat was raised by that person. It can adjust to a new home and owner, but not quickly, and it's not for sure. |

taking care of a cat for a year is better then not taking care of one at all
you asshole animal lovers are some of the most pessimistic hypocrites in the world.
and its not that easy to take a pet back home especially for the pet. What do you think is more stressful locking up a cat in an airplane then in quarantine or having the cat switch homes? |

I have said before that overhead lockers are there for more than just bags; cats, babies, marmots, they all fit in their happily.
I do think leaving the cat on the street is better though, nature at it's best, although I'm not sure if nature had planned for cars in it's fight for survival. |

Easy? The responsibility you are burdened with when you take on a pet is not supposed to be easy.
22 hour flight and no quarantine for my baby girl AND knowledge that she will be taken care of properly for many years to come (yet now passed).
No question which is better.

have these people mistreated any animals? no they haven't they simply cant bring them back with them for whatever reasons. so get off your high horse that you love so much and would never abandon and complain about something more worthwhile |
