...when a foreigner says them.

I am always looking for words in Korean that:

a) - Will make Korean girls impressed it you know that specific word, and

b) - That implies stupidity, but is not actually rude or a swear word (this is for snotty kids that I teach when they act dumb or out of line).

Here's a good one that a really nice Korean woman at my school taught me the other day:

독수리 타법 (for those that can't view hanguel on their comps - dok su ri ta beop)

It refers to/means 'someone that cannot type well and types using his/her index fingers' AKA someone that types really slow, kinda like a nimrod I guess.

Okay, add some more off-the-beaten track words, fellas!

Just thought of two more that I use in class actually.

(Can't be assed typing in Korean though.)

We all know that 'byeon tae' pretty much means pervert, right? There are two other words you can use for pervert, too, that will 'impress' some Koreans if you know/say them.

You can say 'ya hae' or 'ya dong'.

Not too sure if they are offensive or not (I think they are on the same level as byeon tae, will check tomorrow now that I think about it).

Yadong means porn clip, not pervert.

But nice Korean girls will certainly think you're a pervert if you use that word in their presence.

Yahae kind of means fresh, but is rather context dependent.

But 변태 is a 'cute' word. It's more 'silly like a retard' than actually pervert, at least that's what I gathered.

내승 (??) often surprises Korean girls. It means a girl who pretends to be a 'good' girl (good like is dieting, works out, doesn't drink much, doesn't sleep around etc.) but is wild and complete opposite around her friends. Works well when used in the right context. You offer to buy a girl another drink and she declines. Call her 내승.

Ah okay, thanks for the clarification - I was not entirely too sure about those two, saves me from having to ask my Korean co-worker tomorrow I guess.

Do you think she will know what 'galbo' means? Been dying to see if it really means 'cute young Asian lady' or not.

Kalbo means s1ut, tramp or maybe even 'ho depending on the situation.

Get your head out of the gutter, man! What kind of rep do you really want to have at work?

Most Korean girls will say that they do not have any naesung.

Of course, that would be such a naesung thing to say, wouldn't it?

For your students you could use "눈 탱이 밤탱이 돼구 시파?" It means "Do you want a black eye?" with 'black eye' being a kid's slang word. It'd probably get laughs more than anything but occasionally it'll get a kid to quiet down cuz they're so surprised that you know it. That or they start asking you to speak more Korean.

Is the bold part the correct spelling?

Perhaps not. Could be 시바 or, I guess, something else that sounds similar. It' the verb 'want'.

Impress the locals, the usual rubbish:
I love Kimchi,
Dokdo is Korean,
I love Korea,
Hangul is wonderful.
