Hi, I've got a bunch of things planned out for when my parents visit already, but I'd still like to hear from others who may have ideas I haven't thought of.
My parents will be here for 1 week beginning September 20. Too short of a time to travel outside of Seoul in my opinion.
I'd really like to know where a good message service is located that services foreigners. Maybe something in Itaewon. Not the kind where you have sex after the message.
On the list:
Han River Boat Tour
Palace Bus Tour
Night Bus Tour
Namsan Tower
Itaewon
Osan Airbase (dad's retired military)
NANTA (Gangnam theater)
Chongdong Theater (Chusok performance)
DMZ Tour
Myeongdong Shopping
Namdaemun Market
Dongdaemun Market
Cheong gye cheon river walk
Eat lots of Korean food such as: 닭갈비, 샤브샤브, 덜섵비빔밥, a few visits to 김밥천국 my favorite 식당 |

Ed, I had some friends come and we went into City Hall. It cost money to get in though. Inside were more than enough tour destinations. I really recommend checking it out. There was a huge map of the city with everything labelled so it was easy to come up with a route.

I'd add Gyeongbukgung Palace & Namsan. |

Add Doseonsa (Doseon Temple, but you know Korean) near Ui-dong, not far from Suyu and Ssangmun stations. A taxi is the best way from the station. |

It's not too far from Seoul. and no doubt there will be tour buses from somewhere, but the Korean Folk Village in Yongin, is worth taking visiting friends and family to. |
