According to the koreanembassyusa.org, I only need two things to get my husband and F3 visa if I have an E2 visa.

We have the first one. But how do I get the statement of employment and certificate of tax-payment? We want to go to Korea at the same time. I'm sure the school could send me the statement of employment, but how could I get the certificate of tax-payment?

Thanks a lot

Accompanying (F-3)
- Documents verifying their relationship with the family (certificate of marriage and register book or certificate of birth)

- Statement of employment and certificate of tax-payment

you get the certificate of tax payment at the local tax office
You can track down where that is here:
http://www.nts.go.kr/eng/default.html

I forget the name of the actual form, but I got one, just in case my tax office back home doubted me. All I needed was my ARC, and it took about 10 minutes

Suggesting you'll be checking into things like this is also a rather effective way of dealing with dodgy hagwon owners, btw Twisted Evil

So it's necessary for me to go to Korea first and then apply for my husband's visa?

You come here on the E2. He comes on the B1 - 30 day stamp or gets a 90 day tourist visa.

You get the documents from your employer when you get here and apply for his change of status (B1-F3) when you apply for your ARC.

Quick, easy, and painless.
