I need to go to immigration to get an extension of my departure date but my passport is sent away at the moment (for a visa)
Is my ARC card enough or do i need my passport too? |

You'll need your passport, as they'll give you a big ol' stamp.
I don't know if it's possible to extend an E2. A couple years ago they gave me an extension and told me it was a visa extension, but it turns out it was just a tourist extension: When I left the country for Chuseok and re-entered, they told me my visa was invalid, detained and questioned me, and confiscated my ARC. SO MUCH FUN. |

If you stay with the same employer, you can extend your E2 Visa without leaving Korea. |

Thanks
Yeah, I meant a few days extension at the end of my contract/before departure date because my visa runs out the day that I finish my contract
Need a few days to get everything sorted |

For that you will need to have:
your ARC,
passport,
application form
and departure ticket.
There is NO fee.
Your period of stay will be extended until the date of your ticket. |
