What should i do? , i have a student that is kind of strange and all of the kids make fun of him.It mostly goes on out side of my class and in Korean but today i guess he just flipped out and started screaming and crying.Me and the Korean teacher took him outside and talked to him and he told us he wanted to kill all of the other students. There is no counselor in the school and I'm not sure if he is capable of doing something like that but what would you do in that situation.I sent him home and told the Korean teacher to call his mom and also notify the principal of everything. Is there something more that should be done?

Inform the school, that's it. Not your culture, not your job, not your problem (until he puts you on his list).

I think your right but the problem, or should i say one of the many many problems with the education system in Korea is that he wont get any help at all until he comes to school and kills his teacher, which unfortunately enough is me. I guess i should just start being really nice to him so when he does pull a columbine he will leave me off his list.

How old is the student? Kids, especially at younger ages, will say things like this when bullying or other things happen to them. There is nothing to worry about unless they are older.

This sounds more like an emotional outburst resulting from being pushed around a bit. Nothing to worry about if he is or is under 16.

Why not scold the students for bullying fellow students?

Just show the kid that bullying is not allowed in our outside of the classroom.

This kid needs to realize that the world CAN be a fair place and that bad people do get punished.

Yes i should have mentioned his age. he is 15 in Korean so probably 14 in real life. And yes i did yell at th kids for bullying him around but apparently this happens more in his regular class with the Korean teachers around and he said that those teachers don't do anything. If he did something crazy like that i would blame the Korean school system.I Ive already told the Korean teacher to tell the principal about this so if you see something on the news like "american teacher lets crazy Korean student kill 30"

don't believe it.
