I have been collecting money in a big jar for a wee while now.
I only ever spend man wons so all my change notes and all goes into the jar of wealth. I reckon there could be a fair amount in there now and with a few more months to go there will be plenty more.
However a few of the more sceptical foreign teachers at my school reckon that i wont be able to put it in my bank accoount as the bank will think i have been doing illegal privates.
Is this true?
Should i change it all to foreign currency to take home with me instead?
Any advice is welcomed. |

You will be fine, I have done the same thing multiple times over the years I have been here. Never had a problem. Although I never put it in my bank account...I just traded all the coins in for paper bills. |
