1) point to the dish
2) point to the waiter/server
3) make walking gestures with two fingers directing her to the kitchen

maekju duh juseyo.

cola duh juseyo

banchan duh juseyo.

You can just point to the specific one you want and say "duh juseyo."
Don't say "da juseyo." That means you want more of everything.

More and more Westerners in Korea are catching wind to this "yes, I am entitled to unlimited refills" concept. Natives are a real nightmare for restauranteurs in Korea who like to nickel & dime patrons when it comes to these side-dishes.

G'head and know yerselves out it's all good ^^

Where are you from, Kat? The vowel sound in "duh" is a schwa.

더 is pronounced 'do' and the vowel is identical to the way a British person would pronounce the vowel in 'stop', 'box', 'opera'.

You don't wanna go around saying 더 = "duh".....surely?? Shocked

It's pronounced duh, not do.

American English is proper English.

I think we've found the answer for why there isn't a Korean language forum.

Work on your pronunciation. Remember that time you said "저기요! 하나 더 주세요" to a server and she looked at you like you're a complete weirdo? That's because your pronunciation was utterly woeful.

I didn't advocate that 더 is pronounced 'do' as in the verb 'to do'. I thought I made it crystal clear what I meant with 'and the vowel is identical to the way a British person would pronounce the vowel in 'stop', 'box', 'opera'...') but obviously I didn't dumb myself down enough.

더 in no way, shape or form resembles "duh", huh?

The 어 sound should be romanized with an 'o' and 오 with 'oh'. As it is, it's romanized with 'eo' which is also nonsense - so it isn't even romanized with 'u' officially.

더 = "duh" doesn't have a leg to stand on. If I'm unclear, tell me.
