| I'm interested in hearing what all the university teachers actually do in their classes. I've heard about some conversation classes, introduction to the culture of specific countries, and others. What does your university expect you to teach, and do you create everything yourself? |

freshmen class - in house text we choose what chapters to teach
advanced freshmen - no text we use anything we want, I develop my own material including a variety of media and internet oriented activities
presentations skills - text assigned, ignored it as it was stupid and insulting told department and developed my own materials - no repercussions
a couple of other courses as well - developed my own materials. |

Freshman classes-given text. We choose what to teach out of the text. We also make our own exams, making scheme, assignments, etc.
