Apparently, murdering a puppy is a rite of passage for young men in Korea. It's how a boy becomes a man; although I always had thought it was having five minutes of sex with a prostitute in the Seoul station bathroom stall.

I'm told that when a man kills a young dog, it is a beautiful thing.

"The dog must be very terrified so that it doesn't die immediately. You cannnot, hit the skull or it will die too soon. Beat every part of the body, so the meat is tender and delicious"

I think you may have gotten Koreans confused with the Unsullied, eunuch slave soldiers, obedient and deadly, from the fantasy novel series A Song of Ice and Fire.

Its easy to see how you would make such a mistake, since Koreans are a 50 million person nation of black-haired, dark eyed Asians and the Unsullied are a group of bald, elite, drugged-up soldiers who pull new names out of a hat every morning and serve the god-queen Daenerys and her dragons.

Yes, I can see how you made that mistake.

All hail Daenerys!

Killing an animal, even one as cute and loveable as a puppy, isn't murder. It's sick and twisted, but not in the same category as killing a human being.

Well, that's what we have to do to get health care in Canada.

What? You all believed that "free" business?

I was going to say that, but then I read a description of the way the dog is killed. While murder isn't the correct terminology per se, the word carries an accurate connotation. I too am skeptical that Korean men widely practice this, or practice it at all.

complete B.S.

I have lots of male Korean friends, and while they would eat dog soup they'd never hurt an animal.

Do you mean 'guerrilla' tactics; or; was that deliberate?

Besides, they would be afraid of messing up their permas and pink dress shirts. Laughing
