Yes.
Near Costco, and Exco Daegu, in Buk-Gu.
It's called 'Electronics Zone. In Korean "Jeon Ja Gwan".( 전자관 ).

Map....

The second best place is called Gyo dong. It is basically the area behind Migliore Dept. Store, downtown. It runs back almost as far as Daegu Station.
Gyo Dong can be much cheaper, but there isn't as much variety.

Cheap electronics are readily available in tha aforementioned areas. It's much harder to find good electronics, though. I've had to go to Seoul for many things--RAM memory, the latest hard drives, decent computer speakers, camera accessories, a Cort guitar, even--simply because Daegu shops seem to cater to the poor. You'll find literal heaps of aging cr*p, and only the most popular recently released items.

Go to Seoul? It's much easier and much cheaper to order computer hardware on the internet. Especially RAM chips and drives.

Regarding speakers, on the second floor of JeonJa Land, Ithere is a vendor that sells a full range of 2.1-5.1 channel computer speakers. They have Altec , Bose and Nakamichi, which are only ones I can remember.

For electric guitars, you have to go to the Myungduk Negari area, near downtown. The bigger shops there have catalogues of high end instruments that can be ordered in.

I've gone that route, but in this country, especially, I want to see, hold and inspect the item before I buy.

Besides, the shopping is part of a weekend trip...you know, fun.

Also, I ordered a Cort guitar through a shop in the area you mentioned and was sent a scratched floor model with an inferior wood grain pattern.
That was the last time I tried to buy anything on trust, here, outside of Apple Korea. They are alright.
