I believe you, the faithful Dave's reader and poster, has a right to know. And so I feel obligated to tell you the truth, the whole, unvarnished truth. Please, I ask for your understanding.

Mistakes were made. There is no doubt about it. And if you, anyone you know, or anyone in the world, was hurt, harmed, offended or impacted in any way by those mistakes, I am truly sorry.

I truly and sincerely regret those mistakes, whatever they were, and whoever made them.

I just wanted to get that off my chest.

I feel better already.

And I promise to contiinue to work in the coming year to improve my spelling.

On behalf of the faithful Dave's readership and poster...ship, I am pleased to be the first to commend the OP for finally coming clean, making amends, and extending the olive branch of peace. And for those of us who have been hurt, harmed, offended and impacted -- most cruelly, I might add -- by the OP's thoughtless disregard in the past, I would prevail upon you to grasp this branch in the spirit it has been offered. Let the OP's unusually courageous act of humility, grace and compassion stand as a lasting example for us all.

P.S. WTF are you yapping about?

On behave of the unfaithul Readers and Posters of Dave's, I cannot and will not accept this olive branch of peace. The truth is varnished, the sincerity is soiled. The complete and utter disregard for the bright light of SPELLING is inexcusable and has irreparably damaged our mother tongue, the Uniter of people and countries: English. The educators and intellectuals, the disciples of English, that contribute much to Dave's and the pursuit of spreading the English Word and Spelling are in an uproar!

For shame, sir, for shame! Seek salvation in The American Heritage Dictionary! (The only true spelling of English that you'll find! Wink )

Yea, wtF are you talk'n aboot?

have they improved the quality of the alcohol in Korea since I left? Incoherent rant production seems to be up by at least 43% in the past month.

I had a feeling there was something insincere in the OP, but I couldn't put my finger on it. Then I read that and thought, 'A-ha! A politician."

This sounds like Japan's lamo apologies for WWII that they give every once and a while. Completely ambiguous.

Not yet.

But I do plan to run for office after I return from exile.

I figure my country needs me. Ever since I left, things have just been falling apart.

You can count on me. Can I count on you?
