I'm am in the states, Georgia. Do I Have to get shots before going to South Korea...I mean....are they required? What kind of shots are the important ones?

No, they're not required. However, it's recommended by the CDC to get the Hepatitis A and B shots. Also make sure you're up to date on your tetanus shots (every 10 years).

I strongly recommend a .45 at close range, behind the ear.

Far less painful.

Kentucker,

Gator is right about the hep shots, they aren't required, but if you want to get them it's not a bad idea.

My doctor checked the CDC site when I went in for a physical exam before I went to Korea the first time. I got the first series of hep shots but never finished them.

Yes, get the HEP shots. HEP is very common in the asian community.
