I have my modem/router sitting on the floor, and with my setup as it is now, I have no other place to put my external HDD, except for on top of my subwoofer (which is no good, right?).
I don't ever have my heat on too high, no 50 degree Korean temperatures for me, but I'm wondering if having a direct and constant heat will damage the HDD in particular.
It's off most of the time, and in a Data Station case with a fan. |
