Hi has anyone worked in/or working at any of the wales schools in Busan? Or if you know of anyone who has.
I am looking at potentially working for them and was wondering if anyone has anything to say about them that i should know.
Thanks

Aren't they the ones who advertise their school as a "Welsh" language school (웨일스어 학원), not an English language school? I remember seeing it on the side of a bus somewhere, not sure if it was here in Busan or in Gijang. Got a kick out of it.
Probably not really relevant to the quality of the job - or lack thereof. |

I have a friend who works there and seems to be happy. The classrooms are all high tech and she's had reasonably good working conditions. Don't know much more. |

Thanks guys. I think it is a reliable school from what i have gathered so far (which is not much haha) So if anyone else know anything at all, i am all ears.
As for it being a Walsh english school instead of standard english, I might have to work on my accent and pollish up on my Gaelic kk. |

Haha I am sure it is just and English school called 'Wales'.
Apart from some confusion with the name, it is good to hear no one has anything bad to say about it.
Now got to see how the contract negotiations go.

I hope your standards are higher than that. As with any hogwan, be careful, don't sign a crap contract, and ask A LOT of questions before you sign anything. |

Haha, Don't worry, this is only one avenue of checking out the school. It has been relatively unsuccessful in coming up with anything good or terrible however.
Since nothing terrible has been said of it, i will continue the process of investigation by reviewing the revised contract, speaking more with the VP and with more of the current staff.
