Approximately 6 months old. He is white with grey and black stripes. Pictures are to come.

Last night, my wife and I heard a kitten crying. It was cold and raining. We went outside and it ran right up to us and began to show us affection. We have been here 3 years and all cats that we have encountered have run away. Not this one.

RIght now, my wife is taking him to the vet to get fixed, his shots, everything. He is a beautiful little boy and we would like to find him a good home. If we can't, we will keep him. No cost to you. All you have to do is love him and take care of him. I will pay for your transportation costs to Wonju to pick him up. I will also pay for your transportation costs back home. You can take everything we have bought for him if you want (cat carrier, kitty litter, food, etc.).

Today, I will post up pictures. If you are interested in having a kitten as a pet, please pm me as soon as possible. As I stated, we are paying for everything and giving him away to a good home.

Ralph

More to come...

update - he received his first shot today. He needs approximately 1 more month to get fixed. he is scheduled to get his next shot in 2 weeks. If someone takes him before then, they would have to have him complete his shots where ever the new home may be and get neutered. My wief and I will give 100,000 WOn to the takers. THis should pay for the operation and the two shots.

If you haven't found a home for him, I'd LOVE to adopt the kitten you mentioned.

I don't have a cell phone yet (I just arrived in Suwon about 10 days ago), but you could call my neighbor, Darren (his English name) at 010-9114-0630 and he'll give me the message.

Thanks so much!

This thread is very educational. Now I know the politically-correct way to adopt-out an animal!

Thanks everyone.

Update - On Sunday, we took the bus (4 hours) to Gwangju (in the southern part of Korea) and delivered the baby to the new mommy and daddy. They seem very happy with the new addition to the family. Thank you to those who showed interest. The baby is happy and so are we.

yeah ... goes without saying cubanlord has raised the bar.

a lot of people post threads about giving away or selling animals here. it's no surprise that most of them are criticised for picking up pets to please themselves for a year, then trying to ditch the animal onto other people.

i think that this has shown a lot of people how to get it right!

ps. love your avatar & nickname. i have the very same basexpander (blue too!) sitting on the desk next to me. LOL

Yeah, Dave, but I spelled it wrong, compared to what it says on my machine!

And for you dog lovers:

Type in a command for the dog. Try "Kiss" at the end.
