I want one.

It'd be fun to go to work like that every day. I could just land on the roof.

You're bored? Just go for a glide.

You could set up a hook and cable mechanism like they use on aircraft carriers.

A rig seems to cost between $7-10K. Not impossible.

Imagine spending some time in Nepal or some other spectacular place with one of these. Awesome.

$10K isn't bad for what looks like the coolest method of human solo flight possible. It would probably take several years of experience before you could be whippin' and dippin' like those guys though...

I was thinking about if I had one of those. I live in the country and my school is less than a ten-minute drive. Was thinking about the power lines. Screwing up with lack of practice and falling several feet...

You'd definitely need to take short practice attempts, but you could (would) definitely get hurt doing those...

It would be great having one of those back home. Party? I'll be there in a bit. But all your friends would want to try...

I guess you'd need to take lessons and practice hang gliding first, etc.

Pretty wild. I've had dreams where I'm keeping myself in the air just using sheer strength, will, my arms... Pretty much flying. What they do in the video is like that. While watching it I thought they they were going to have a way to slow themselves down and land like a bird. Alas, they had to use parachute. Oh well. In the future...

That isn't Seoul, it's DAEJEON.

Looks pretty dangerous, hope they don't end up like my buddies dad, on assisted living for the rest of his life, after crashing into a power line on a hang-glider. Going under bridges and through apartment blocks, and over highways, looks pretty dumb-asss stupid to me.

Yeah. Maybe. There's too much over your head and a lot of obstacles like the power lines you mentioned. Easy to miss (or easy to hit - depends how you say it).

Ending up dead is ok. Ending up like buddy in the Metallica video is another thing.
