| I'm headed to Chuncheon for Chuseok and I was wondering if anyone could offer advice on what to do/see there. |

I went there last year for chewsock. It was wonderful!! We stayed at the Biophilla Hotel downtown. Its phone number is 02-3211-4114 It was a very nice place. You can get a city bus to the Dam there. I think it was number 24. You might have to ask around. Are you driving? Once at the dam you can take a boat over to another area which is very peaceful and a fairly easy hike. If you drive, you still have to park at the base of the dam and take a shuttle bus to the top. It's not that expensive. There was a white jade shop nearby that was nice to see, but you would have to have a car to find it. Lots of nice parks and rivers there. But very quiet this time of the year since everybody goes on vacation. Let me know if you need to know more before friday. I'll be writing my name on the Great Wall.  |
