my broke ass is heading to Jeju this weekend for 5 days and I was hoping somebody could fill me in, it's my first time to Jeju...what are the options for a budget traveller there? Are there love motels? Cheap bungalow operations? I'm willing to put up with sub standard conditions if it means I can lay around on the beach all day for very little won.
also...favorite beaches?
finally...is it going to be a mess down there due to the storm(s)? I honestly haven't followed it very closely other than hearing about the deaths from flooding and a lot of property damage, so I have no idea what their current situation is. I would hate to be 'that guy' enjoying my vacation while all around me people are trying to salvage their lives and mourn the loss of family members. if it's bad enough i might just stay here.
thanks. |

It would be most desirable to sleep on an Eun Sun, a Mi Yeong, or a Hye Joo |

How about the street? I've seen plenty of Koreans passed out contentedly in the street when I lived there. Damn cheap, too. |

24 C the forecasted nightly LOW on Jeju this coming weekend,... very comfortable tenting weather without blankets.
Buy a cheap tent, bring a sweater for a pillow and beach it.
Seriously cheap and super fun.
See you there.
I'll be here, on Hyopjae beach for at least one day & night:
