According to the koreanembassyusa.org, I only need two things to get my husband and F3 visa if I have an E2 visa.
We have the first one. But how do I get the statement of employment and certificate of tax-payment? We want to go to Korea at the same time. I'm sure the school could send me the statement of employment, but how could I get the certificate of tax-payment?
Thanks a lot
Accompanying (F-3)
- Documents verifying their relationship with the family (certificate of marriage and register book or certificate of birth)
- Statement of employment and certificate of tax-payment |

you get the certificate of tax payment at the local tax office
You can track down where that is here:
http://www.nts.go.kr/eng/default.html
I forget the name of the actual form, but I got one, just in case my tax office back home doubted me. All I needed was my ARC, and it took about 10 minutes
Suggesting you'll be checking into things like this is also a rather effective way of dealing with dodgy hagwon owners, btw |

So it's necessary for me to go to Korea first and then apply for my husband's visa? |

You come here on the E2. He comes on the B1 - 30 day stamp or gets a 90 day tourist visa.
You get the documents from your employer when you get here and apply for his change of status (B1-F3) when you apply for your ARC.
Quick, easy, and painless. |
