I work at a university, and heard that I cn get a Samsung credit card. How do I do this ?

Talk to someone in your office and get them to call Samsung for you. A rep will come, you fill out a form and get your card. Simple process!! The rep will probably NOT speak Korean, so if yours isn't that good, grab one of your better students or an office person to do the translation.

It's a crapshoot. When I worked at SNU, i was denied. When I worked at an After-school gig, I was approved. They have no standard. It's luck.

I got a Samsung card about 6 months ago. It is really easy to get one.
Get a korean to call Samsung card devision and they will send out a rep to your work. Make sure you have your ARC, your passport and your banking details. You will fill out a few forms and they will explain the details about using the card to you. It takes about 1-2 weeks to recieve your card.

Just remember that if you are getting a Korean credit card to take advantage of discounts from restaurants like Bennigans, you often have to use the card for at least 100,000 per month or sometimes more to get the discounts.

If you like Bennigan's, for example, the Shinhan Bennigans card is the best deal, because there is no amount you must use it for (currently... deals can change yearly).
