Not good news in terms of how safe it is in Korea. However, given the fact the younger generations are watching more tv and playing more computer games it isn't surprising. There are other things like obesity that are going to become problems in the near future for Koreans.

As a result of this increase in crime there has also been a significant rise in the sales of wheelchairs and pajamas.
So reported a Mr Bang EmUp of the HanAcme devices for getting out of jail equipment company.
The Deluxe Wheelchair with a hidden weapons compartment is especially popular with those charged with aggravated assault,
whilst the light weight titanium model (perfect for overseas travel) is popular with those charged with extortion, bribery, and theft.
Mr Bang EmUp stated that his company was developing a new line of wheelchairs especially designed for murders, rapists and Hogwan Directors.

TV and Games the culprit for Crime?

Let me see.

I was a TV addict since i was 8, a computer game addict when i was 12.
I still had time to finish Uni, find a job etc .... and never gotten into any real problems.

Sorry to say, but TV and Games do not increase crime. Bad parenting does.

Well the fact that there are no jobs and the whole system is corrupt. I wouldn't be surprised if 3% of Koreans own 97% of the wealth. As such people will do fracked up things for money.

There has always been lots of corruption and a disparity of wealth in Korea. If you want to show reason for an increase in violent crime, you have to explain it by pointing to things that haven't always existed in Korea.
