Hey, I was talking with panthermodern for awhile about Paintball in Korea.. and hopefully he can give us more information regarding this.

I'm just seeing what kind of interest that might be on the boards in getting a Paintball event going..

panthermodern was saying he knew a place in Daejeon that was attached to a bar and restaurant or something like that.. I'm sure he'll have more details.

The main facts being, who is interested in PAINTBALL?

I'm interested if you all promise to let me win and never shoot me. Not even once.

I got slaughtered at a paintball tournament before and had little red circles all over my body for 2 weeks. Ouch!

The Panther can post some of the info he was telling both Tiger Beer & myself the other evening. BTW, I hd a good time on Sat. night.

The Bar/Restaurant Bad Apple in Daejon was oragizing trips in the late spring but stopped for the summer due to the heat, the deal.

bus from Bad Apple to the field.
Gun and Air
Face Mask
about 100 paint balls each
Field fees
bus from field to Bad Apple
A hamburger or chili dog
2 500 cc beers or 1 mixed drink
for .....
50 000 won

cheap at twice the price

In addition there is some outfit in Seoul called adventure pub which ran paint ball trips, but, I have never been with them.

When I have more info, I will post it.

When do they start up again?

In your opinion, do you think it would cost marginally more or significantly more than the Bad Apple Bar in Daejon?

One other thing.. for a paintball excursion.. do we need to have a certain amount of people minimum to play?

Paintball's great.
You can end up with some nasty bruises though. Zyzyfer's right. Take a cup. At the very least a pair of rolled up socks. Shocked

Yes, Paintball would be of interest to me for sure. The price seems reasonable compared to paintball in Canada. I would like more information, possible dates etc. Its always a blast, too bad I didn't bring my semi automatic gun with me.

I'd like to give it a whirl, and echo eamos sentiments - as long as you don't shoot me, well not on the face anyway, and let me win - I hate to lose, then it will be sweet.

How hard core is it? I've never done it before, but have always wanted too. Is it sadistic to want to run around and shoot people?

It'll be my first time as well.. we're virgins! Paintball and skiing.. two things i've always wanted to do.. and never done.

Two more questions.. probably panthermodern might be the best resource.. but how much does the Seoul one cost? and when does the Daejeon one start up again? How do we go about reserving time?
