Anybody have the Cowon Q5? Anyone know what the difference is between the study model and the regular model? Theres a 100,000 won price difference. Also does anyone know if it can be switched from Korean to English. I remember reading that you can with Cowon products, but just wanted to make sure.

i went to yongsan today and got different answers about whether or not the Q5 could be switched to English. I got one that said not sure, a different guy that said absolutely yes and another that said no. the one that said no said it was because it uses korean windows ce. the guy that said maybe said that the service center could do it, but i wasnt able to confirm this yet. i would've bought it from the guy who said yes, but he was charging more that the other guys. anyways, i was wondering if anyone has one and could give me a definite answer.

i also found out the difference between the study and regular model. its just missing the dmb, so you can't watch tv on it.

A few months ago I went and bought an iStation Netforce. It has Windows CE and the salesman swore up and down that it could be switched. A month later I finally was told that, no it couldn't be done after I had already bought it and they sent it to the factory and got it back.

I am pretty sure all Korean PDA/PMP's are the same as it would require a whole switch in rom systems and patches. Why would they bother to set something like that up for less than 1% of the population?
