Is there a market for English instructors in the science realm? Mostly I hear of only business english but what about the english speaking science geeks? Where would one look for a job like a that a one? All I can think of is contacting profs with their own labs. Or can anyone suggest any pharmacetical/chemical companies in Seoul? I'm a gyopo who doesn't look like a gyopo who barely speaks any Korean if it'll help with any info.
Many thanks!

Also interested. I have a MPhil in marine biology and a pile of publications.

I am wondering if there are jobs out there editing papers before they are submitted for publication?

Most of the places that would hire you can't because of your visa.

You'd need an f visa to work in a non-English field.

Do you mean a non-English *teaching* field?

no I think they mean a visa that's not strictly for English teaching and I think the f class is like 'residence' visas as opposed to a 'work' visa? Although I'm new to this whole visa thing so I could be wrong. Anyhoo, I'm eligible for an f4 and will hopefully get it...to anyone's knowledge, are there English universities in Seoul? There appears to be a uni on every few subway stops!

I think he'd need an E-1 to teach science at a uni.

At my university, the English language science teaching positions are all filled by Indians.
