Thank god. That place in the Hamilton parking lot is gone. A great unearthly groan was exhaled as the last brick went down. The sick and tormented soul has been freed.
It had a number of different identities that were exactly the same. Each one more snob like than the earlier. Alas, all failed to cover its comprehensive and thourough spiritual rot.
You will not be missed and I recommend a parking lot or mausoleum in its stead. |

Haha. Good times. Was there also in 2003-2004. Good times, but that ship has long since sailed. Place always had that scent of looming failure, or maybe it was the shifty crowd lurking in the corners of the bar on the weekends.

Yes, thats it. The Lime Light or the Slime Blight is gone. I see foundation work going on so I think resurrection is underway. You have to use holy water consecrated by a real Roman Catholic non-molesting priest to make this kind of exorcism work. Looks like they got some kind of low brow Korean evangelist to do the blessing and the hex just didn't stick. |

Isn't that were the new Hard Rock Cafe is to be? It was supposed to happen much earlier and already be open, but it's not. |

A good hard rock cafe would be cool, not like the one in gagnam. I was there and it suck as$ had some Korean band with a female signer. I felt like I was in a bad Vietnam war movie. I was waiting for the you like some sucky sucky. The best hard rock I have been to is in Atlanta and the one in Toronto is cool as well. Lets hope it is good. Not underground either that sucks. |

Yes, it will be a Hard Rock Cafe. There has been a sign up for months now that says "Hard Rock Cafe, Itaewon, Seoul - opening soon". |

Damn. More Itaewon gentrification. I hope the lost souls of all of the skanky people who used to dance, drink, and pass out at Limelight begin haunting the Hard Rock Cafe the second the doors open. |

Well, maybe it will breathe some new life into Itaewon. The place has been a disaster since 2005. |

Organized crime giving way to private ownership and/or franchise is not gentrification. Itaewon has the highest land value in South Korea. |
