This is the booster vaccine for tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (whooping cough) that adults in the US and some other countries have been offered since 2005. Is this vaccine supposed to be a permanent booster? The only information I can find is from the manufacturer and they say there is no data on more than one dose. How long is it supposed to last? Normally you're recommended a booster every 10 years but from what I've read it's implied that this is not necessary with this vaccine. Also vaccines for pertussis don't usually last for very long but I can't find any information on how long this new vaccine is supposed to immunise you against pertussis for. Can anyone who has had this vaccine shed any light on these matters?
