Found this ad in the IHT:

World Toilet Association? A humanitarian organization? Hard to believe, but the group actually exists:

Read online ads from the Philippines. Tons of them just like that, only they add that the secretary must be female, attractive, between the ages of 19 and 25, and be willing to be away from home on long overseas business trips to "assist" the boss.

I'm not kidding. Tons of ads like this in normal newspapers.

They even organised a tour of Suwon's toilets for the international press.

I can't see why anyone would doubt it's a humanitarian issue though. People still die of cholera, to name one disease spread when toilets aren't up to much.

People gotta eat and go to the bathroom. Become an expert in either field, and you'll have job security. Wink

Oh indeed. Doctors say the four things that have lead to the extension of human life beyond about 30 is:

- the toilet
- water filtration
- antibiotics
- vaccines

There can be no doubt improving toilets in the third world would have a huge effect on the quality of life. But it's just so damn funny.

I wonder what that group's reaction to the "used toilet paper bin" was? That practice just can't be contributing to healthful living.

And this is in the job section because? Take a picture of a toilet and post it. You've taken pictures of trash before.
