I read one guy's posting about Yeosu being struck pretty heavily by typhoon Nari. How are things now? I hope no one was killed. Was there much damage to buildings and trees?

There's no damge that I can see. Down at the seawall and the palm trees are still there.

Yeosu's a beautiful city and it reminds me a lot of Vancouver in the old days. You have mountains, coast line, a lot of islands, and the air is clean.

It was a lot of rain and a bit of wind but not too much damage...

however jeju was flogged...

We had one death. Other than that, most everything is okay. The damage is mostly manifested in the form of blown-down crops and a few downed/broken trees.
